My Charge 3 is not even a month old and the bands are falling off. It seems the clips on the Charge 3 are failing already.
This is happening with original and accessory bands.
I've been chatting with Fitbit via Twitter Direct Messaging about this. Gonna have to get on the phone and request a warranty replacement it seems. In case you need it here is Fitbits phone number 877-623-4997

@Karenba if it is the band, I suggest spending less than $10 and get a metal band through Amazon.
Or contact Fitbit, link in the upper right slide out menu or through the help link below or under help through the app.

You'll be lucky. Fitbit just refused to replace mine, despite being in warranty.
Common problem Fitbit most unhelpful. Buy something else!

Called customer support. At first after emailing them a picture they thought it was only a new band I needed, but I explained I had gotten a new ‘after-market’ band that would not stick either. They had me send another picture of the device, without the band so they could see the button (which is supposed to be movable). Upon seeing that and me telling them it was locked and would not move at all they processed a free replacement of my Charge 3 device. Color me a satisfied customer!!! :rainbow:

Lucky you. They took my money for the charge 3 AND a replacement band but say the won't replace the faulty product because....they don't ship! Excuse me, how did I get it in the first place!!! I'm never buying another
Aren't you lucky! It's a common fault. Bet it goes again.

That sucks and I’m sorry to hear it. We’re you still in warranty? Because I’ve been able to replace two of their devices, this one and the model previous to the Charge 2 without any difficulty.

Just over a year old. Absolutely disgusted with Fitbit and not buying any more.

Yes, thank you. I went with strictly a replacement device-Charge 3. It was very painless.

I bought my Charge 3 yesterday, because my Charge 2 band kept falling off. On the first evening, the band of my Charge 3 fell off! Totally gutted.
This morning it’s fallen off 3 times. I keep trying to reattach it more firmly, but it seems like a huge design fault. Very unhappy.

The Charge 3 is one of e easiest of the models to insert a band in. Once inserted a gentle tug will confirm that it has been properly inserted. The watch should also be placed loosely on the wrist, allowing at least one finger to easily slip behind the band.
When it comes to cleaning, let's look at fitbit's help.
How do I clean my Fitbit device?

I have two bands, both have fallen off. It has happened every day for the six days I have had it. Never had this problem with previous fitbits.

I lost my fitbit a week after purchase. Got another one and lost it last week but fortunately found that one. The band situation is a terrible defect!

My Charge 3 is only two days old and is now lost in a lake. The straps fell off numerous times and I thought it was my error in not connecting them correctly. This time they released while I was swimming and it’s lost.

Wish I knew about the band problem earlier. Lost my Charge 2 and never had a problem with it’s bands. Replaced it with the Charge 3, finally getting used to it’s features and after a few months I can’t get a band to stay on one side of it. Tried different bands and all just fall off!
