Charge 3 Defective, but Fitbit won't do anything about it

I have had 3 different Charge 3 pebbles and none of them has tracked my heart rate, which means its not tracking my sleep or many other things accurately.  I have been buying Fitbits since 2016, and I have never had an issue with a Fitbit like this that they were not able to resolve. The only option they have for resolution is another replacement device (but after 3 pebbles, I am NOT willing to try a 4th) or 50% off select devices. Well, because they change up the bands and chargers all the time, there is no other device that will work with the many bands that I bought when I bought the Charge 3 eight months ago.  Why does this company make a defective product and then refuse to do anything about it?  They are about to lose a loyal customer that has gotten MANY other people to buy their products as well.

Hi @CrysMD sorry you've had problems, but Fitbit did do something about it. They offered you another device. So why not take advantage of the offer. As for bands, the new Charge 4 will use the bands that your Charge 3 uses.

A replacement of a defective item is not a viable option, and the Charge 4 is not part of the 50% offer, so I would have to pay $150+ to get a device that works to be able to use the accessories I purchased after buying the Charge 3 for $150. Again, not a viable option to me.
