Charge 3: Not receiving text message notifications on Samsung S10

Hi all,

Up until today, I've had no problems with my Charge 3, and now all of a sudden it won't receive text message notifications. Everything is still set up to receive notifications, as I can still receive Emails, WhatsApp and phone calls, I have impaired on Bluetooth and also tried rebooting like all the guides say, but no success.

Can someone please help?

I did, like at the beginning of January, lol. Did everything that just about everyone posted to do. Nothing. After I updated the Fitbit app from the google play store, I started getting my text messages on my charge 3. The Version is now 3.14. ( WAS 3.13).  I'm just happy that it's working again! Also glad that yours is working again also.

Yesterday I logged out of the app and then did a forced stop. I then updated the app from my phone and I am now receiving notifications.  It appears a update was released on the 7th of February to "fix bugs".

@lynoit  Have you tried going into the Google play store and see if you can update the Fitbit app from there? That's what I did and now my text messages are working on my charge 3. The new version is now 3.14. I have the Note 10+ and it's working for me.

It automatically updates and does not say what the new thing is and I do not see listed in my play store. It just says it has updated recently.

You can find out what version you have from the Fitbit app. Open app, then click on your picture profile. From there go down to help and your current version is listed at the top. If it's 3.13 then I would suggest keep looking in your play store to see if the Fitbit app is there to update. The updated app is 3.14. I believe that's the only way to update the Fitbit app, through the Google play store.

yeah this thread is for Samsung/android phones not iPhones. So we can't help you with that. You guys have to go to an iPhone thread for help.

 

I have seen other threads you guys have to turn on your "Notification Center" in your options for your phones or something. Whatever that is. I've never had an iPhone so I can't help.

If you have an iPhone this won't work for you. Not sure which phone you have. And it isn't bull if it is working for other people who have a Samsung/android phone.
