Charge 3 Silent Alarm Not Dismissing

I’m having the same problem with my Charge 3.  Everything else works. It is synced with app. Every morning alarm goes off. I tap the button. It resets the alarm.  Nine minutes later—alarm goes off again.  Even getting up and taking a sip of water and morning pill doesn’t stop it if I return to bed.  Only thing that seems to work is actually waking up and getting my heart rate up a notch or two. I really only want the alarm go off once period. Like others I may just stop using it.

I called Fitbit about the problem and they sent me a couple of possible
solutions that didn't work so they are going to send me a replacement. Of
course, mine was still under warranty.

And 2 months since your post -- 6 months in total -- it is still not fixed.  My Charge 3 just started doing this.

It's still not fixed. But they determined it was definitely a problem with
my Charge 3. However, since it was still under warranty they sent me a
replacement fitbit that my daughter-in-law ( works as an IT specialist) and
I spent hours trying to pair! I finally gave up. Guess I'm just going to
have to deal with the very with that very irritating alarm. Unfortunately,
I use it twice a day for medication reminders!

What button do you press to dismiss the silent alarm on charge 3? It doesn't work.

Yeah the charge 3 has an invisible button on the left that doesn't work
very well and the programmers would rather have a picture of a stupid duck
(or rather a stupid picture of a duck) than a control button on the touch
sensitive screen.

Go figure.

Probably waiting to be bought out.

The button on the side of the Fitbit. I think it's called the Tracker
Button. It does NOT stop the snooze!

Had the same problem, swip left to get to timer, press to hour glass and your set times alarms should be there, then press to disarm. Same with timer:) Had to reboot a couple of times with a sync, and logged out and finally started working. Good luck:)

Cool. It works.

Now we need them to kill the duck.

Yes thats right! The screen display has the duck and nothing else. Push the
"left button" and IT SNOOZES!

Evidently customers in Taiwan can now use the Charge 3 to make contactless
payments by linking their credit card to their watch though.

I'll bet a decent sum of Taiwanese dollars the developers are based in
Taiwan.

It doesn't matter what I do - the alarm continues to snooze for close to an hour. When the alarm goes off, I've tried:

* pressing the button once - it snoozes, then goes off again (rinse & repeat)

* pressing the button twice - it snoozes, then goes off again (rinse & repeat)

* pressing the button three times - it snoozes, then goes off again (rinse & repeat)

* pressing the button MANY times in a row - it snoozes, then goes off again (rinse & repeat)

* pressing the button, then tapping the "Zzzz..." - it snoozes, then goes off again (rinse & repeat)

* pressing the button, swiping the "Zzzz..." - it snoozes, then goes off again (rinse & repeat)

* tapping the "Zzzz..." - it snoozes, then goes off again (rinse & repeat)

* swiping the "Zzzz..." - it snoozes, then goes off again (rinse & repeat)

* ignoring it entirely - it snoozes, then goes off again (rinse & repeat)

* putting it in a drawer - it snoozes, then goes off again (rinse & repeat)

* tapping the duck (or whatever the hell that thing is) - it snoozes, then goes off again (rinse & repeat)

* swiping the duck - it snoozes, then goes off again (rinse & repeat)

I've also updated the app with every new update, refreshed, unpaired, reset, etc and NOTHING works... Why can't we just STOP the alarm after the first notice?? The alarms feature USED to be useful. Now it's just a massive PAIN in the butt. The only option I've found it to turn off all alarms and use some iOS app that I found for my alarms. The problem is, I don't always have my phone with me.

Whatever you did in a recent update, broke this feature so that it's useless. When this thing stops working (and it will), I will NOT replace it.

Morning! You mention a button ... What button??  - my Charge 3 is new and I love it otherwise! The Alta silent alarm was turned off by tapping the screen lol .... Thanks in advance

There is an "invisible" button on the left side. For instance, if you push
the charge on the left side (when the screen is blank) it will wake up the
screen and get a little vibe feedback as well.

Why they don't have a choice in the app for whether you even want a snooze
feature and then a little X button drawn on the screen to tap to kill the
alarm I don't know!

Snoozing alarms is not good for your health.
