On my fitbit Charge 3, my silent alarms are going off. However, when I turn them off they automatically go on snooze and will go off in 9 minutes. Is there a way to turn the alarm off without putting it on snooze? Thank you!

Mmmmm that would be very annoying! Have you tried restarting the Charge 3 several tmes? Give it a go if you havent already. If that doesnt fix ot try wiping user data (settings app on the tracker and scroll down to About - you will need to set the Charge 3 up again afterwards). If that doesnt fix ot then contact Support (link in my signature)

What are you doing to turn the alarm off? If you press the button it shouldnt go to snooze, but I believe tapping does snooze it.

Welcome on board @teacher4, it's nice to see you here! When your silent alarm goes off, the tracker flashes and vibrates. To dismiss the alarm, press the button. To snooze the alarm for 9 minutes, tap the ZZZ icon. Tap snooze as many times as you like. Charge 3 automatically goes into snooze mode if
you ignore the alarm for more than 1 minute.

Hope this helps, I'll be around if you need further assistance!

Thank you for your reply. I am only pressing the button on the side to turn the alarm off and I am doing it in less than a minute. However, it simply goes onto snooze mode. It is quite annoying as alarms continue to go off until I manually turn them off in the alarm section. Is there something else that I can do?

Thank you so much for your reply. I haven't tried restarting it yet, but I'm not sure I know how to do that. Sorry to have to ask, but how do you restart your fitbit tracker?

Thank you. I didn't even know there was a button on the side of the charge 3. Good to know.

Same thing here. Could only set the alarms from my computer; not charge 3 or phone app. Thrilled to have alarms, but can't shut off without it going to snooze. I don't want to do the reset. I really don't like this Fitbit.

The info below is on Page 26 of the PDF instructions for the Charge 3. Dismissing the alarm without putting it in snooze mode requires pressing the side button twice.
Dismiss or snooze an alarm
When an alarm goes off, the tracker vibrates.
To snooze the alarm for 9 minutes, tap the ZZZ icon or press the button. To dismiss
the alarm, press the button twice.
Snooze the alarm as many times as you want. Charge 3 automatically goes into
snooze mode if you ignore the alarm for more than 1 minute.

The last few days mine has gone to snooze. I have done nothing different than previously.

I instantly hit the button on the left side of my charge 3 when the alarm goes off. It still goes into snooze mode. I have restarted the charge 3, I have deleted and set up my alarms again, and insured my software is up-to-date but nothing works. I rely on my alarm twice a day to remind me to take my medication. it's important to me that it work properly and not be annoying, otherwise I may as well stuck with my Fitbit Flex and saved $100+. Do you have any other solution that is guaranteed and proven to resolve this?

Just press the button twice when the alarm goes off and it won’t go into snooze mode.

After your silent alarm goes off, to keep the snooze from coming on again on the Charge 3, push the side button TWICE.
