Charge 3 - Very Hot - Won't Charge - Continuous Vibrating - Shipping Label?

Hi,

  • My Charge 3 lost all charge very suddenly on Wednesday. I tried to recharge it several times, but each time it got very hot and made a strange buzzing noise.
  • I contacted live chat. They didn't give me any help in fixing it, just wanted to replace it. They made a shipping label. I never received it. Overall very unhelpful. 
  • I contacted live chat again, and the second person sent on the shipping label, but no instructions on how to use it.
  • Sent email asking for instructions on shipping label, they send me a long reply of regurgitated info, but nothing about the shipping label. Sent a reply asking for clarification, no reply yet.
  • In the meantime, my Fitbit managed to charge a bit, but then woke me up in the middle of the night, vibrating and buzzing continuously. Nothing would stop it.
  • Live chat is has been offline since last night.
  • Overall very unhappy with customer service. In fairness, I've have only had positive experiences in the past.

Can anyone 

a. help me to fix my Fitbit?

or

b. instruct me on using the shipping label? (ie. do I need to bring it to a post office or cal someone to collect it?)

An update to say a 4th person eventually replied to my email, telling me to bring my Fitbit to the post office.

 

I travelled there and queued, only to be told they couldn't except it. 

 

No advice is better than the wrong advice, I am further annoyed to have had my time wasted. This is a very hard time for everyone, so I don't mind waiting longer than usual for assistance. But giving the wrong information is not good enough.

 

And still no idea about what to do with my Fitbit - any suggestions?

 

I've worn a Fitbit nearly every day for over 5 years, I really miss it.
