When I swipe over to Weather on my Charge 3, it never works and says to try syncing with my phone... That doesn't work either. Any insights?

First, let me say I love my Charge 3 (I upgraded from an Alta). However, I've followed the steps you've outlined several times, including a reboot, and it has not resolved the issue. Please add this as an item that needs to be fixed with the next software update. Thank you.

I've done all of the steps above as well and my Charge 3 still doesn't show the weather.  Why is this?

Have you made sure that the Fitbit is running its latest firmware? An update was recently released and that might just come with a fix.

If it won’t sync up for the update, just restart the unit by plugging it in to the charger and holding the “button” on the side it your Fitbit until a smiley appears on screen. Try again with syncing/updating after that and it should work well enough.

Some are saying their weather app isn’t working at all but mine is working, just not updating with current temp. It always has the dashes. I have the device set for all-day sync and even when I manually sync, it doesn’t work.

I’m honestly a bit disappointed with the Charge 3. I had such high hopes but it seems like things just randomly work or don’t and some, like HR isn’t accurate no matter how I wear it.

I hope they get it together. At least the silent alarms are working again.

Just as the others, I've followed instructions and synced with my iphone and it still does not work. Thanks.

I have exactly the same problem and the option "All-day sync" is already selected.

I found that adding the location of town/ city worked, rather than using my location.

Don’t know if you’d tried that

I didn't start getting weather updates until I manually added my city. Then, "Current Location" started working, and now I have two weather updates. I haven't tried deleting the manual input to see if it still works, but this is how I got it to work.

I have the Weather app working, but it shows weather in Centigrade not Fahrenheit.  How to I get it to change to Fahrenheit?

Found it…it’s in same area as selecting city.

Same problem here: the temperature I see on the display might be of three hours ago!

Fitbit Weather is not workingFitbit Weather is not working

This morning fitbit update was triggered and after some time  it notified me that update is complete.  Then I did the sync (using my  iPhone 6). Weather is still not showing.

Weather on the Fitbit charge 3 is not there,  no icon, updated yesterday with the firmware, synced again, location on and nothing seems to help! Maybe a defective Fitbit! Any ideas?

Since the upgrade yesterday, it works if you swipe right after selecting the weather app.

Yeah I did the update and the weather showed for a little while.  Then the temps did not show (just "--").  And now I get the same "need to sync" message.  How can I fix this?

Is it in the app gallery? I don't have one to test.

@SB28 On your Fitbit Charge 3 swipe left from the home screen three times and you should see the weather app.

Yes in the app gallery, there are 2 pics of the weather image for the Fitbit and other info about your location and other cities to have for options.
