Charge 3 active minutes not recording

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Last week my charge 3 stopped counting active minutes. Now after a 45 min workout with a bpm average of 165, I have 0 active minutes. Ph updated and turned on and off. Fitbit updated (3.54.1), restart and long restart (several times), added as new device, changed clock face (because that fixed an issue once!) but nothing fixed this.  Everything else seems to work… heart rate, auto recognises exercise, sleep….just active minutes sitting on 0.

I noticed some users had this issue a few years back but not seen anything recent.
anyone had the same issue or suggestions on a fix?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @L-leggo. Thank you for sharing your active minutes inquiry and for letting us know about the steps you have followed in order to resolve this.

There's no record of this happening to other issues at this moment. You can check help article: What are Active Zone Minutes or active minutes on my Fitbit device?

I found the thread you mentioned about this issue in the past and according to the recommended steps and the steps you have followed the best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.

Hi Andrea,

Unfortunately the problem is unresolved. I had to purchase a new Fitbit (charge 4) with no guarantees that it won’t have the same problem. I’m afraid to say this will be my last Fitbit. There is obviously a problem with the software because everything else seems to be in working order. Active minutes were my main goal. I was reading up on zone minutes and it doesn’t seem a proper indicator of how long I’m active. I’ve had Fitbits since 2016 but when my charge 4 crashes it’s highly unlikely to be replaced by another Fitbit.
regards,

Lea

Were you able to get the active minutes working again? Mine have sat at zero for about 3weeks despite averaging about 200 active mins a week previously.
