Charge 3 and app showing 50k+ step while sleeping

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I woke up today and my watch and app both say I moved 53,000 steps overnight. It also shows I was sleeping at the time. How can I correct my steps for today? I have tried resetting and checked my timezone, but it hasn't helped.

I have also noticed lines showing up on my watch screen. Is there any way to fix that?

Thanks!

Hello @Piratelvr3. Welcome to the community forums!

Thank you for the information and for the troubleshooting steps you've followed prior to posting.I suggest you to please confirm that MobileTrack isn't enabled. MobileTrack is a feature that records basic stats such as steps using your phone's sensors if you don't have a Fitbit device available. But there was a fan or anything buzzing nearby, or if your phone was vibrating during that time, that might have caused you to receive incorrect steps tracked.

If this is the case, I'd suggest you to remove this feature by following the steps described in this help article and monitor your tracker's behavior to see if this has any relationship with the high amount of steps. If that doesn't change after you remove this, please let me know.

For screen inconveniences, I recommend visiting this thread for tips and suggestions.

I look forward to your response.

Thanks for your reply.  I have never had an issue with the mobile track before. I have disabled it, but it also shows the same step count on my watch. So I'm guessing that's not the issue.

I tried to do the long reset on my watch in regards to the lines and it didn't do anything.
