Hi. My Charge 3 band just slides off when I try to attach it and I'm not able to wear it. It looks like the latch is stuck in. Can this be fixed?

A warm welcome to the Community, @Kalihatma.
If you are having problems with your Charge 3 band, I recommend taking a look at the help article: How do I change the wristband on my Fitbit device? and make sure to follow those steps to secure your wristband.
Let me know if you need anything else. 🙂

@Kalihatma That latch is spring loaded. It sound like the spring broke or the latch might have gotten pushed in and gotten stuck on a rough edge. If your Charge 3 is under warranty, then I think you should contact Support for advice before you try doing anything. You don't want to void your warranty. If it is stuck on a rough edge, then a jeweler or a watch repair shop might have a fine tool that will release it and it will pop back into position. But again, don't do anything that might void your warranty.

I had the same problem after changing out my wristband. Called tech support and they said replace the wristband. Bought a new band and had the same problem. Then called tech support back and they said unfortunately it is out of warranty. Asked if there was anything I could try to make it work (i.e. reboot) and they said no. Fortunately I read another article where a woman fixed the problem on her husband's Fitbit after cleaning the stuck latch with a little soap and water. I did the same scrubbing with a toothbrush and letting it set for ~ 30 minutes, then using a paperclip was able to lift the stuck latch and make it work again. Why can the support tech offer similar advice?
