Hi @DiannTurner a warm welcome to the Community Forums. There is no way to fix your band if it is broken. If your tracker is still under manufacters warranty then it's worth submitting a claim using this link here Otherwise you will need to get a new band for it.

Hi there @DiannTurner, welcome to the Community Forums. I am sorry to hear that you are going through this situation. I appreciate your feedback for the Fitbit Charge 3.
Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps. So, I'd recommend making sure you are following the steps in the article: How do I change the wristband on my Fitbit device?.
To make sure you've attached the band correctly, please press it into the end of the tracker until you feel it snap into place.
If you have trouble attaching the wristband or if it feels loose, gently move the wristband back and forth to make sure it's attached to the tracker.
Thanks for your help and recommendation @Tony.r.
Let me know if there's anything else I may do to help you.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I too have this problem. I have tried to attach the still new bands that came with it, I have been using the white one, and have tried both the extra white one and both black.
The bottom side snaps on no problem and I can feel the click, the top side does not respond in this manner. its seems it it something with the tracker portion itself vs the bands.
This was a gift for Christmas in 2018 so it past the warranty. Is there no way to resolve outside some sort of epoxy, as the tracker itself works perfectly fine?

I'm having the same problem with my FitBit band. I'm on my third band. One side clicks in, the other side DOES NOT attach securely.
I've even taken it to two watch repair guys. The problem is the latch mechanism on the FitBit itself. The clip things will not stay in position to hold the band securely. It will snap into place but just fall off unexpectedly. I'm lucky I've caught the FitBit each time. Please move beyond solutions attributed to operator error. The malfunctioning watch clip portion has two wee screws attaching it to the device. Is there a way to purchase the broken clip mechanism? The watch repairman has the tools to install it.
Thanks for any solution to a FitBit parts site.

I am having the same problem. The top portion of the band will not click in. It is not the band, which is fairly new, but the watch itself. I carefully cleaned the contact points and it made no difference. I, like others, are just beyond the warranty period. I miss wearing it, and am in hopes of fixing it.

Super happy that fitbit customer care came through! Even while I was a couple months out of warantee period, they made an exception and sent me a new Charge3 tracker. This is why I have been a fitbit brand ambassador & fan for almost 9 yrs.

I had trouble getting the release to let me remove the band. Once off, I could see just how much filth had accumulated. I cleaned it up and then it didn't want to latch onto the new band. More cleaning. Then it caught. The buckle side was more of a mess to clean. The latch would not catch. So, lots of cleaning with an exacto knife, then had to use the blade to lift the catch level I had depressed to remove the strap. More cleaning. Then more prying the latch up. Then it reattached and is fine.

On mine the little loop on the strap broke. I contacted customer services who said it wasnt covered by the warranty (they couldnt show me where it said this!!) and tried to sell me a new strap £25.
This is my 3rd Fitbit and will be my last if they dont replace foc

I have the EXACT same issue. One side of my Charge 3 will not hold the band on. I have seasonal bands and I have tried them all and the issue is the same, the same side of the actual base will not connect any longer. Nor will the original band. Seems like a waste. Did you get any resolve?
Nancy.
