Hello @marissadevascon

I can’t say for certain if the recent update caused battery drain on your Charge 3 as I have a Versa 2. But have you tried restarting your Charge 3 to see if that helped the issue. You will not lose any data performing a restart.

Here’s how: Just open the app settings (gear wheel) on your Charge 3 and tap it. Scroll down and tap about the tap reboot device

If your still experiencing issues maybe this Fitbit Hep article can provide so tips and setting changes you can make to extend your battery life here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2004.htm

😉 I’m hoping a simple restart fixes the problem. Let me know how it goes

My charge 3 becomes the same issue as marissadevascon. It worked fine. The battery could last for at least a week. But the battery is draining now like 1 % per minute since 5. Aug. I have tried everything from rebooting or erasing the user data to changing other settings. I have even disabled the heart beat monitor. It worth nothing. I just can not believe that it is not a firmware issue. I hope they can fix it as soon as possible.

I rebooted the fit it, but I don't have a reboot setting on my galaxy fitbit app. Now had to do Factory reset and lost everything.  Fitbit still draining and not syncing.

Hello again @marissadevascon

I’m not really sure why you elected to do a factory reset on your Charge 3. But you haven’t lost everything because your data is stored on the Fitbit servers. I can help you set up your Charge 3 again as a new device if you like.

You will not lose any data doing so but you will lose any data that occurred after your last successful sync. If you want to set up your device again here’s how:

  1. On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth > the information icon next to Charge 3 > Forget This Device if your on an iOS phone. Tap unpair if you are on an Android phone. If it doesn’t appear anywhere on your Bluetooth proceed to step #2
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  3. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
  4. Log out of the Fitbit App then force shut the Fitbit app by swiping it upwards
  5. Restart your phone.
  6. Restart your Fitbit: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186.htm
  7. Log back into the Fitbit app as you normally would with your email address and password, then tap on your profile picture then scroll down and tap Set Up a Device.
  8. Choose Charge 3 from the list and follow the onscreen instructions. When asked if you want to replace your Charge 3 say yes.

😉 This should get your Charge 3 back up and running again. Let me know how it goes

I must not have relayed correct info. I factory rest my phone with Verizon on phone with me. We did a backup, but I lost most of my photos. I thought the sync issue with fitbit would fix itself. 😐

I agree that it must be a firmware issue.  Working great 4 days ago and suddenly it started draining quickly.  Rebooted several times and didn’t help.  Deactivated a lot of notifications (except low battery) and that didn’t help either.  How can we get more help?

I have also disabled every notification. It did not help. I have put it away. It is just not usable now. If it gets no update in the coming days. I will buy a new smart watch. But definitely not from fitbit.
