Charge 3 battery draining fast

My HR Charge 3 doesn't seem to hold its charge for longer than 3 days, is this a common fault. Was working well until 2 weeks ago holding charge for 7 days.

You need to contact Fitbit through the App and open a complaint report. They will take you through various checks. Try that first. When you brought your fitbit did you take out an additional warranty. If so try changing it.

My battery won’t last a day it drain after a few hours. I had to stop wearing it I have rebooted and it’s been on charger for a week and it is now fully charged this is stupid.  It use to last for days not can’t get to lunch and it’s dies

Mine won’t last a day.  Battery drains after a few hours. Rebooted every day for a few and still won’t hold a charge now been on charger for a week. Looks fully charged but not till today grrrr

After a long line of social media messages, the replaced my Fitbit. It was frustrating and ridiculous.

I'm having the same problem. My charge 3 is down to a half battery within a couple of days. It stopped tracking sleep as well. I can't find the thread for the solution otherwise. Thanks

If it's plugged into the charging cable then how do I press the button which is covered by the cable.

I never really got a solution. was told to reset it. More than the battery issue, I also kept getting the 001 error requiring several resets often in a day. I finally called customer service and convinced them to replace it. It took almost 3 weeks to get the replacement ( they lost it). Now have new device. 2 days in and so far so good but we will see. The customer service was so bad that I've lost confidence in fitbit.

It’s hard - I use my thumbnail to get it. If that doesn’t work try something else like a pen tip.

I bought my fit bit charge not even 3 months ago.  My battery does not last for more than a day. In 30 minutes it went from 100% battery life to 60%. And no I don't have bluetooth connected to my phone so it doesn't drain my battery on my phone or watch.  I talked to fitbit today.  They're going to run a test on my watch.  The guy told me it shows that your watch has good performance.  It was at 100% and now showing 50%... and I was like are you serious? My battery dropped by half in less than a day. I charged my watch 4 times in 2 days.  It's definitely defective

You need to put a report into fitbit via the app and explain the fact that the battery is draining quickly. Or take it back to the retailer and get them to change it

Yes I already did that.  That is why they're sending me a replacement tracker

Excellent stuff, they did the same with me and this one is absolutely superb, battery life is on average 9 days.

It's actually decently sad and disappointing how many people are having the same issue with the same fitbit. I shied away from buying the next step up, the one with the bigger square screen solely on the price but now I'm wishing I would have. My current charge 3 not only loses battery life very quickly but never has the weather connected, often will not be able to track my heart rate (which was the reason I got it recommended by my cardiologist), the screen will stay black no matter how many times I press the side button to turn it on...I'm actually pretty fed up with fitbit. This was my first experience with one and sad to say will probably be my last.

Hello, I am also having a battery problem. I have had the Charge 3 Special Edition (ordered from fitbit site) for a few months and it was working great, until about 2 weeks ago. I am having to charge it about every other day and it hasn't synced since May 22nd, it's saying it is syncing right now but it's not. Please help!! Thank you!
