I got my Fitbit a little under 2 years ago in March of 2020. I have been charging it maybe once or twice a week with no problems until yesterday. I woke up and it was dead even though it had been charged to 70-80% the night before. I figured it was a fluke and quickly charged it back up to 90% before leaving. throughout the day I noticed the battery was draining really quickly. I tried turning off notifications, rebooting multiple times, and switched the location tracking from "always" to "while using the app" but the battery continued to drain. Today I charged it to 100% at 8:30 and it was down to 7% by 11:00.
It seems strange that the battery life would decline so quickly so I am hoping there is someway I can fix it. This is my first Fitbit though so I'm not sure if this is just something that happens when they have gotten too old.
Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing the battery or any recommendations on other tracker watches that would last longer than 2 years?

I was having the same issue two weeks ago-batter was draining insanely quickly and then all of a sudden stopped charging altogether. My Fitbit is just over 2 years old, and I was hoping to use it another year or two before upgrading…

Yesterday I was able to chat with someone from Fitbit. Unfortunately they weren't able to offer any suggestions on what happened/ how it can be fixed but they did offer 35% off on a new Fitbit. If you are looking to replace yours I'd suggest asking for that. Too bad they apparently don't last very long though 😞
