Charge 3 battery issue after 88.11 firmware update

I’ve had my Fitbit charge 3 for about 2 years. Until the update I only needed to plug it in every 5 days. Since the update, the battery drains very quickly. It dies in 18-24 hours. I have restarted it several times & am still having the issue. I was going to get my husband a Charge 4 for Christmas, but I’m hesitant due to this major issue on my Charge 3.

It seems that I am doing/have done all of those things, that my Fitbit can do. And have been doing them all along. I did not change anything on my Fitbit or my app before the severe change in battery life. The change came immediately after the firmware update. Is Fitbit planning on doing anything about this issue with the new update?
