I’m charge 3 is only 1 1/2 years old. All of a Sudden it won’t hold charge. I removed from charger yesterday at 8:30 pm at 100% and it Is 8pm the next day and the battery is at 66%.
what the heck is going on?

Hi @Blueiggie, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the battery draining issue that your Charge 3 has experienced, I'd like you to try the tips that are listed in this help article in order to improve the battery life of your tracker.
After this, monitor the battery's behavior of your Charge 3 and see if the issue gets fixed.

Thank you for responding. My charge 3 has been holding a charge just fine for a year, this all started about 2 weeks ago. I only use my device for time steps and sleep. Battery is draining almost 40% in a 8 hr work day.
