My charge 3 is 18 months old and the battery has failed. How do I get it repaired or replaced, and yes I have read the article about how to extend battery life. Don't try to fob me off, just help me to get it repaired

It's not possible to repair or replace the battery - you will need to replace the entire tracker. If you are in Europe the warranty runs for 24 months so you will still be covered. If so, you can start a claim by contacting customer support via contact.fitbit.com

If you are not in Europe the warranty only runs for 12 months so you will not be covered. It might still be worth contacting customer support though as they have been known to offer a discount towards purchase of a replacement.

Thanks for the prompt response. I've visited the site you suggested in
order to make a claim but as I do not use twitter I can see no other means
of contacting Fitbit, I just keep going round in circles. Any more advice
would be welcome.

That contact page should also offer web chat and telephone contacts. Unfortunately, they seem to have temporarily suspended email support.

The web chat option will only be available when it's staffed.

Here's my UK contact screen:

I don't know why you can't see that screenshot so, rather than risking more problems, here's the UK telephone details:
