Charge 3 bike distance not tracking on dashboard

My distances for bikes doesn't get added to my dashboard. Just went on a 12 mile bike and my dashboard says 2.

If you mean the "Miles" in top part of phone app, that does not include biking distance; it is only step-based activities: walking, running, ...

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
