Charge 3 black lines across the screen

I have thin black lines running down and across my screen. They seem to be multiplying.  I have reset it, I have changed the clock face, done a long reset, contacted customer service to no avail.  Is there a fix for this?  My heart rate monitor also seems to out of whack.

Hi @JHodges If what you have tried hasnt worked, there is nothing else you can do unfortunately. Support is the only option. Are you out of warranty?

Hi there @JHodges, welcome to the Community Forums. I appreciate your time and efforts while troubleshooting your Charge 3's display. 

 

Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps. Then, if the tracker is deemed defective we review eligibility using the one year warranty option.

 

Additionally, our products are indeed designed and made to last (this goes for each product component) however, there is not an infallible way to ensure that no issues will be present in the long run. Because of this, our Warranty Policy is set into providing as much coverage as we can.

 

As you've mentioned, you've already spoken to our Customer Support Team  who gave the 25% discount option as per our Warranty Policy. This is the best option to help you get back on track with the Fitbit family I'm sure our team will be more than glad to help you further with this. 


While customer satisfaction remains our number one goal, the demands of running a global business require that we enforce our warranty consistently.

I have a thin black line through mine as well and the green HR light on the back of it will not go off. I have reset it, changed the clock face and done the long reset as well. The green light is running my battery down and I have turned off the heart rate monitor which I thought would make it go off but it didn't. Can someone help me???
