Charge 3 black lines on the screen

Hello, I noticed today that my Fitbit Charge 3 developed a black line in the display and I have tried restarting it and changing the clock face, but that did not solve the problem. As I've seen from other threads, it looks like replacement is the only option.

Hello Marie,

Unfortunately, it seems that even the replacement I received has now developed lines as well. More lines than the original had, but no white background. I tried all the same steps as previous (Change clock face, short restart, long restart, but it only added more lines (as it was originally only one similar to the first Fitbit before it turned bright white). I posted a picture of them side by side (to ensure it's not simply a picture of the old one) and a clearer picture of the new one's multiple lines.

All I can think, since this one is only a couple of weeks in use, is that it has something to do with the "Retro Double Stat" Clock Face? I never had any problem with the old one until I switched to the "Retro Double Stat" clock face in order to see Time, Date, Steps, and HR without having to hit anything to switch the display. Prior to that clock face being released, I used the "Asymmetrical" Clock Face so I could see Time, Steps, and HR (prior to any face having a date function). I do not do any swimming with either of them and this one I have barely let come into contact with water.

Hello Maria,

It appears that this replacement has also developed black lines... This one I did not let contact any water, and used the "Stats Heavy" clock face the entire time since it arrived (as opposed to the "Retro Double Stat" with the last one). So it would seem that the clock face in use likely isn't what causes it... I attached a photo of the current one with multiple lines in it, and then a picture of all 3 side by side (Previous replacement w/ multiple lines, original w/ distorted background and line, current replacement w/ lines). I've noticed that once a single line appears, they continue to multiply usually. For example, the previous replacement started out with one line, then became 3, and continued to what is now shown in the picture. The current replacement only had one line this morning (that wasn't running through the clock face), but by the end of the day one had appeared through the clock face also. I received the current replacement on July 27th, or approximately 1 month ago.

I have a replacement charge 3 screen due to black lines appearing around the 6 month mark after purchase. This too has got lines after 6 months of receiving a replacement!
