Charge 3 black screen and phone can’t locate it

I plugged my device in as usual to charge overnight and it did not work. Black screen, vibrates the entire time I hold down the button to reset (both 8 and 15 second methods) screen stays black. Does not reset. 

It’s less than a year old and I don’t even wear it swimming so I doubt it’s waterproof.
