Charge 3 black screen

Sometime between 6am-10am my Fitbit Charge 3 just stopped working. The screen is black and the button is unresponsive. I have had issue in the past few weeks where it would randomly do this but only for a few minutes at a time. It has now been hours and my Fitbit never turned back on. I followed the steps in the troubleshooting and plugged my Charge 3 into my PC but it still never turned back on.

 

Please help!

I was sent a replacement as well. Excellent Customer service..Get in touch with them.

same thing for me too, emailed customer services about replacement under warranty no response

I thought for a while it was fixed but no now it charges but I can't press the sides to see the face.  It sync ok but only works when plugged, so not much good.  I asked about a refund swap as it was within warranty but now with lockdown can't take it back to a shop to get it returned!!

Email them. They should send you a replacement.

I'm having the same with with both of mine my husband has one and so do I we have had ours for 3 years with no issues till now we have tried the hard reboot and it won't work

They are very helpful, they offered me replacement or 50% off a new charge 4 but they would not refund. The problem is the charge 3 itself does not work. And if the replace how soon before it goes wrong again.

Hi there, This happened to me less then a year ago and FitBit sent be a
brand new unit. There must of been a massive up grade to the software,
that took out many units...mine went black again. I did not purchase the
extended warranty on the replacement so I was out of luck getting it
replaced a second time.
All and all I would contact Fit bit , replace and purchase extended
warranty.

Yes, i plugged in and started wearing my charge 2, and my charge 3 started to work. Its been working ever since. Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could lose weight simply by taking a pill, wearing a patch, or rubbing in a cream?

No. Fitbit got me to do the long restart, but the screen remained black. The Fitbit still works but black screen. They are sending me a replacement.

Followed the directions multiple times.  Screen remained black.  There was some buzzing/vibrating but screen remained black

Mine did the same. I corresponded with Fitbit during the process. They have replaced mine.

I charged up my charge 2 and started wearing it, So my Charge 3 started working. It has been working for a while no issues.. weird.
