Charge 3 black screen

Sometime between 6am-10am my Fitbit Charge 3 just stopped working. The screen is black and the button is unresponsive. I have had issue in the past few weeks where it would randomly do this but only for a few minutes at a time. It has now been hours and my Fitbit never turned back on. I followed the steps in the troubleshooting and plugged my Charge 3 into my PC but it still never turned back on.

 

Please help!

Mine just went blank few days back. I have tried everything that's suggested here including the hard reset. The device seems to vibrate during the reset couple of times but the screen never came back up. It's totally dark and nothing is happening. Please help or let me know what's the next step.

  • Tried reset several times the tracker vibrates but the screen is black.

It didn't work for me I can't even push the button. It's like it's frozen.

It's done, if you call customer service they will run through all the steps with you, check your warranty status and probably offer you a 25% off code if you are out of warranty.

Mine just stays blank, If vibrates when I try and reset it. But nothing no smile, no anything..

Mine does the same but is still recording activities, this is the second one I have had in less than a year, not good .Take care , Lezzels.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Whelp I've been given their pathetic "device out of warranty 25% off a new one." crap. I guess fitbit never heard the old adage that a satisfied customer goes away happy, a delighted customer tells a few friends and a disappointed customer tells everybody and their dog.

 

NONE of us broke our devices, we didn't abuse them and this is a software issue! It shouldn't matter that it's over a year old! These should ALL be replaced free of charge AND with the Sao2 function unlocked! I was not impressed at all to know it was there but locked. I will definately be telling lots of people how fitbit treated me.

I emailed fitbit, they have me the standard steps to follow to get it working again, but nothing worked. They eventually offered a replacement or 50% off a newer version. I got a replacement within a few days.

Just did a Samsung update and now Fitbit Charge 3 vibrates but no screen visibility.  Tried the resets.  Any updates on what is happening?

 Screen just reappeared.  I am guessing that posting on here scared my Charge 3.  Thanks Y'all!

mine keeps going blank, then it wouldn't charge,, so I started using my 2,, and my 3 started working.. I think they want us to buy the 4

I have the same problem. Been like it for 2 months. Won't fix by restrestarting.
