Charge 3 black screen

Sometime between 6am-10am my Fitbit Charge 3 just stopped working. The screen is black and the button is unresponsive. I have had issue in the past few weeks where it would randomly do this but only for a few minutes at a time. It has now been hours and my Fitbit never turned back on. I followed the steps in the troubleshooting and plugged my Charge 3 into my PC but it still never turned back on.

 

Please help!

Hi - There are a series of protocols when you call technical support. They have you try to reset it, have you change the clock face and I'd that doesn't work they replace it.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Contact customer service. A very nice person will help you. I did this,
they guided me through pretty much the same steps, and determined that my
fit bit was defective. I was able to get a new one at no cost from fit bit

I realize this. They asked me to do that on all three calls. But according to them a dim screen isn’t enough to replace it. It needs to go black. Even though I couldn’t read the dim screen and had a feeling it would fail all the way.

Emailing them worked. Sent them a few pics and they told me they would make an exception and replace my charge 3. Very cool

The steps below do not work.  There is no vibration when I connect the fitbit to the charger.

My screen is black n can’t read it. Been going on all week. Very disappointing as my 3rd Fitbit and never had issues till the charge 3

My fitbit 3 screen has gone black.  There was a glimmer of image but after I followed directions to restart on this page has gone black.  Never got wet... 6 months old.  Please advise ... thanks!

Email Fitbit support. They most likely will replace it.

Was told could not be replaced alas it was replaced six months ago. I have
bearly used for one year from original purchase.
Not happy.
Was told there was a discounted Versa 2 in mulberry which I do not see in
this email.
May be considering changing device brands. I have been wearing fit bit
since first watch, went to fitbit 2 and now this one which has been a
complete pain.
Please advise.
