Hi there, I have tried all the recommended method to fix the black screen problem on my Charge 3 but it still doesn't work.
- Connected to power and press it for 15 seconds. [Still black screen]
- changed clock face [ Still black screen]
So I just have to accepted that this is Fitbit? This is Charge 3 and fall this rubbish away?

My Charge 3 has completely died now after utilizing the suggestions from FITBIT Customer Service and suggestions in the Community Area before involving FITBIT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Apple Watch looking better now.

I have had mine since July and once I was able to restart the fitbit but have not been able to since. I have tried everything on the site including changing the watch face. I contacted support a few months ago and they said someone from support would contact me, but that never happened. Just haven't had time to sit down and go through it all over again with support, as that time it took a while and didn't help. I keep trying the restart, as some people say it takes more than one time, but nothing. Watch still syncs to my phone but I can't see the face and I don't get any texts anymore.

I am having the same problem with a black screen on my Charge 3. I have tried changing the clock face and tried restarting by plugging it in and holding down the reset button (and no smiley face appears; it just stays blank but buzzes 3 times, even when I unplug and replug it in). Nothing has worked so far. This Charge 3 unit was just replaced by FitBit in December last year because of a fault in the previous one so I definitely didn’t expect it to malfunction so quickly! Please advise on how to fix this issue. Thanks.

The same problem appeared yesterday night.
Today I have read the forum and tried all the advices how to fix it. It doesn't work unfortunately.
So maximum I got - it's 1 second of alive screen after reloading and that is it. After the screen is black, if I touch the bottom it vibrates, but that is all.
So unfortunately my fitbit died after 1 year and 1 week... it looks like I joke. Very sad actually. Because to pay for the new smart watch every year I think it's a bit too much!

I have same problem.
i tried charging and pressing for 15 seconds and i tried changing the face clock but still I have black screen. I tried to drain battery but no positive effect.

I’m having the same issue and this is a replacement Fitbit as my original didn’t work... So frustrated! I have had the replacement for less than a month and now this happens. Tried all the suggestions. Nothing works!

I have tried all recommended fixes, press button for 15, change clock face, etc., nothing works but I can still feel my 3 vibrating. It will not sync either as my phone does not recognize my 3 in Bluetooth settings.... help

I went on the fitbit web site and had a live chat, they tried to sort it out but it would not work so they replace it.
Mine was still under warrranty

My Charge 3 special edition also has a black screen. I did the update the app said I needed but its still not working. What can I do?

I don't work for FitBit and the way this is set up, you end up replying to other people who have expressed the same issue. Don't worry, I did the same thing. What I did was reach out to customer service to get help.

Thanks jogger! Indeed I cannot solve the issues of others. Although I was advised by Fitbit to post here die assistance, I never ever got feedback other than other peoples feedback having same issues. Not really happy with the service one can imagine...

I am having the same problem. I’ve tried the reset multiple times. I don’t have a screen anymore but it still syncs and tracks my data. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Same as the above. Tried both fixes and as soon as I unplug it the screen goes black. Can you please have someone reach out?

Is this still the latest information on this issue? I've tried the remedies for the black screen that started occurring this week with no luck. Not quite sure how long I've had this one but pretty sure it's been less than a year. Please advise if there's any new information since the March post. Thanks!
