the screen blacked out but still vibrating.  Tried restarting it, and restarting while charging, charged for 3-4 hours, changed clock face a dozen times but still do not see the screen coming back to life.  What else can I do?

And it is only 6 months old !

Ok, thanks for the info but I don't think it is under warranty anymore!

When I reported, all they gave me was the same instructions to restart. I believe my warranty has now expired (was a Christmas gift last year). Join me in moved to another brand as fitbit seems to have a product defect they are unwilling to stand behind. I won't be purchasing another.

They should have proof of when you first reported it & if it's within the warranty period, I'm sure they'll honor it. Good luck!

I have had exactly the same issues as you so this is my second in less than two years. Very disappointed in the product.

Hi

I am having this same problem with my Charge 3. The screen stays black, but otherwise seems to work OK. Can feel vibrations for notifications etc. Does track sleep and heart rate, but cannot use it as a watch as cannot see time, or see heart rate.

I have tried various troubleshooting, such as restart, changing clock face and holding restart for 15 seconds, but doesn't seem to work, vibrates but screen still stays black.

Please can you help?

Thanks

Jo

Today I experienced the blank screen for the first time. Did the restart..all good. Little while later, blank screen. Restart again with same results. The most recent restart has resulted in the screen being active but entirely unreadable. It's just a mess of pixels. I've been extremely disappointed with the Fitbit compared to my first tracker (Garmin VivoActive). If I'm going to have to buy another one I might as well get something that is reliable..which is not Fitbit it seems. Very disappointed.
