Charge 3 blank screen and GPS draining the phone's battery

Fitbit has turned on my GPS on my phone and this is running down my battery.  My fitbit screen is blank so cannot see what is going on with.

Thank you for the detailed information. If the GPS on your Phone is activated, take into consideration that you can turn it off to preserve battery. Also, there is a link that contains instructions if in case your Charge 3 experiences any inconvenience with the battery life.
