Charge 3 blank screen and it won't stop vibrating

I tried troubleshooting and couldn't find a solution. My Charge3 is going crazy. It has a black screen and vibrates almost nonstop. The button isn't responsive and plugging it in doesn't change its behavior. It did show me the battery/smiley face icon when I plugged it into the computer instead of the wall outlet but it didn't do anything different beyond that. Just wondering if there is something else I could try. It's less than a year old. I wear it everyday and it's helped me so much that now I'm lost without it! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am having the same issue. Last sunday at around 4 PM it started. The screen would  not respond and then around 5 PM it started vibrating on and off. It did this for 24 hours ( I had to wrap it in a sock and put it in another room to stop it from disturbing my sleep.) I have followed all the guidance here, but nothing worked it would vibrate but no screen response. Then I waited for the battery to run out and followed the instructions again, still nothing. I am really disappointed with Fitbit at this point having had issues with the blaze I bought my father as a gift and now this.

I'm having the same issue. I followed the process above and it isn't helping. It also isn't synching on my phone. Please help!

I never got it fixed and ended up changing and upgrading to a charge 4.

I have had mine about the same amount of time. I am on my 3rd Fitbit.   The last time I had issues  they too offered me a discount.  I didn't take it because at the time I couldn't afford it.  Over the weekend my latest Fitbit started acting up.  I've done all these steps except contact CS.  I won't buy another Fitbit as they just don't last.

My charge 3 is also having the same issue as Tara. I have followed all these steps. My screen will only light up when it gets reconnected to the charger and shows me my battery percentage. As soon as I take it off, it has a black screen and has no vibrations. The heart rate light isn’t flashing green either. What should I do?

It seems that this is a known issue & likely just a poor lifespan as it seems many on this thread have been told that their units are dead & out of warranty.  I have tried multiple versions of the resets that I’ve found on this forum from various tech support & none of them work.  

 

This is my 4th FitBit or so.  Like others, I won’t waste my money on something that will last *just* beyond the warranty period.

Hi Marre

I've suddenly been having similar issues with my Charge 3, thought I'd resolved it a couple of days ago but today it won't restart, only shows a blank screen, vibrates either continuously or intermittently and does not sync. What else can I do? I'm on a cycling holiday so was really hoping to use my fitbit for activity tracking.
