My charge 3 has had a black screen for almost half a year now but it still syncs with my phone. I decided to try to fix it by doing everything listed in the forums (change face clock, reboot, hard reboot, etc) and nothing works for me. I decided to update the firmware and it didn't realize it removed the ability for silent alarms from the app.
Since my screen is black, I can't change/update my silent alarm settings. How do I downgrade my firmware so that I can change it from the app again?

@sahkuh Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with this and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. There is no way to downgrade firmware and since the tracker isn't working correctly I have created a ticket so our Support team can further assist you via email.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi @sahkuh, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the screen and silent alarms issues that your Charge 3 has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
In regards to your question, I'm afraid that the there is no way to downgrade the firmware version.
In order to avoid providing the same information, please let me know how the hard reset was performed. In the meantime, try a long restart as listed below:
Looking forward to your response.

Hi JuanJo,
As I am facing the same issue as sahkuh (also tried out to change face clock, reboot, hard reboot), I followed your instructions. Unfortunately, step 3 cannot be verified from me as the screen still stayed black. The vibrations in step 5 however were there and I continued to disconnect and reconnect the device to the charging cable. The black screen was/is still there. I repeated these steps multiple times but without success. Any further suggestion on what I can do?
Thank you for your support,
Conny
