This is my 3rd Fitbit device. Last week I changed the clock face. After a few hours screen went blank and stopped tracking. Charged fully, then battery went dead after 12 hours. I charged again, screen went on and off several times. I wore it for a few hours and pressed side button several times, sometimes it would vibrate, sometimes nothing. Green lights on back flashed for a few days, then stopped. Put back on charger, tried resetting but nothing happened. Fitbit app on my phone is set to all-day sync but now says it is unable to connect to charge 3. Also, after charging for about 10 minutes, fitbit was hot. It does nothing now, no vibrations, no green blinking lights, blank screen.

I'm having this sale issue as well, my charge 3 became very hot when I connected it to the charger to try to restart it, because it won't sync with my phone (Samsung Galaxy S9), screen is black, won't restart, doesn't vibrate when I connect it to the charger, nothing. I have a case number from yesterday when I chatted with customer support. I was having no problems until the update and now it seems my Fitbit is dead. Help!!

- Does your Charge 3 get hot while on the charger?
- Is the display blank?
- Does it vibrate when the button is pressed?
- Have you tried to restart?

My issue started 2 days ago.
I woke up with the fitbit flat.
I charged it but then noticed that after charging i had a number of black lines running across the top.
Please note - Up until it went completely flat it was working 100%. No lines.
I tried resetting it using the watch reset option - Didn't work
I tried changing the clock face - still had lines
I tried several clock faces - still had lines
I tried a hard reboot on charger - I got the smiley face but then I had a blank watch face
I hard reset it 3 times and it eventually gave me a watch face
I changed the display to show the watch face using the normal timeout instead of medium thinking that if i set it to default the battery wouldnt go flat so quickly?
However after the hard reset the watch would not always respond - i still had the vibrate option but had to press it a number of times then it would work
Yesterday it seemed ok but then it went flat in less than twelve hours - No vibration
I tried charging it today but even on the charger other than for a smiley face i got no response other than the vibration - I could not force a reboot
I disconnected and tried syncing the watch with the phone and lo and behold i had the clock face but the phone said the charge was 48% even though it had been on charge for a while.
So i put it back on the charger
When i took it off the charger it had a blank face again.
I tried syncing it with phone and bingo it showed the time for a few seconds and phone said 100% charge
Then i could no longer get the display working
Almost right away I got about two vibration attempts, the display came up for about 2 seconds but there was no info in the optins when i swiped the screen.
Then the display went blank and the watch got very hot and remained hot for some time but no longer responded to anything
As i am writing this i am trying one last time to see if i can hard reset it. When i press the button it just vibrates constantly until i assume the battery dies and the vibration stops. It was getting slightly warm but not hot again.
All i get is a very long vibration when holding button on or off the charger with no display and cannot sync.
Any suggestions as now it no longer works at all.?
