Charge 3 blank screen won't reset won't charge won't sync

I can’t reset the clock face because my wife disconnected the Charge 3 from her iPhone. I have no way of getting the charge 3 to respond I’ve tried the recommended reset options, but nothings worked.  I can’t reconnect her charge 3 to her iPhone because I can’t see the four digit code on the “black” screen.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
