Charge 3 blank screen

My Fitbit is fully charged yet it will not show anything on the display screen, . When pushing the sides it vibrates but will not display the time, it’s is only 1 month old and was working perfectly an hour ago, any one any suggestions, thanks!

HI - my Charge 3 screen has been dead for weeks and I haven't been able to solve the issue using any of the Community responses.  The 8 second, 15 second reset solutions etc.

 

I purchased this in November 2019.  After being on board from your first model.

 

It charges ok and I can track my steps in the app but I want the screen back.   In the charging unit, it vibrates once or twice when holding down the button but nothing else happens.  I also can't contact Fitbit support as everytime I hit "contact support" it loops me to this page "Sorry, that page is following a different trail.  Since it’s unavailable, step over to one of these instead"

 

Could someone please contact me ASAP regarding how to get in touch with support or how to resolve this issue.

The display on my Fitbit Charge 3 stopped working.  I tried changing clock face and no difference.  I did a soft reset, again no luck.  I did a hard reset (the 15-second version and waiting for the seven vibrations) - got a smiley face but nothing else.  Did all the above multiple times.  No luck.  Did the online chat and was instructed to do all the steps again - again, same result - black screen.   They said order a new one and offered a discount since my Fitbit was out of warranty. 

 

All the while, my Fitbit sync'd just fine and registered as a full battery.  I knew the screen wasn't dead since I had the smiley face. 

 

In a last gasp effort -  I went into a very dark room (no lights, at night) and pushed the button.  I could barely see something, but it was too dim to make out, but it looked like the clock.  I tabbed over two screens (swipe to left) and got to where the setting menu should have been.  I tapped the top text/icon (it was too dim to see clearly what I was tapping, even in a pitch black room.)  Suddenly, the display was back to the standard brightness and the display said "brightness normal" (or maybe it was "normal brightness") and tapping it a few more times made it cycle through "auto" and "dim."   I tapped again and returned it to "normal brightness" then swiped back to the clock and it is now I can see the display normally.  

 

I am happy to say that it is now back to a normal level of brightness!

My fitbit Charge 3 stopped working suddenly yesterday. The screen went blank but it will still vibrate. If i plug it in to the charging cable it will sync to my phone about half the time. I have tried the 8 second reset, the 15 second reset and changing the clock face. None of these things has worked. When i change the clock face it vibrates twice when the phone says it has changed the face but doesn't display anything.  The lights on the back flash green some of the time. I have also tried 2 different chargers and plugging it in to the wall vs my laptop.

Contact customer support. I got a new Fitbit charge 3 when this happened to me

I have a similar problem tried everything but nothing seems to work, still a blank screen. I bought mine just a few weeks back.

You can try the 800 # for customer support... They didnt help me, but they replaced others who had similar problems

Got the same message.  I have tried everything multiple times and not getting the charge 3 display back at all, even though it is tracking and syncing.

Why is the link in this respond blocked? When I try to view it, it says “access denied”. My charge 3 screen just stopped working and it’s not even a year old. Tried changing clock faces, tried resetting it 10 times, nothing works. 

 

This has not helped my charge 3, Ive tried resetting it every way possible, and changed the clock face to every option possible, no success. Very disappointing that Fitbit can’t create long lasting products! This charge 3 isn’t even a year old

I have the same problem and cannot sort it. Pretty disappointed with the Fitbit product.

I have my fit bit just over a year, and they will not replace it.  Great business model.

Hey there I've tried everything from trying to restart it, from giving it time, checking for updates and even changing the clock face. Nothing seems to work.  It's still tracking everything, still vibrating. But the screen is blank

I've got the same issue, my Charge 3 is almost 2 years old and out of nowhere the screen is blank. It's not tracking my sleep or heart rate anymore but is still counting my steps. I've tried all of the solutions, soft reset, hard reset, change the clock face and none of that has worked.

My Fitbit device is black screen and i cant see the time on it and its not restarting up after the smiley face appears up on the screen. 

 

P.S. Please help someone

Thanks for this but you won't believe that now I am receiving my 3rd replacement fitbit due to either the screen going blank (happened again today) or the grey stripes.

I am really luckly that I live in New Zealand and our laws here mean that Fitbit have to replace the item however I am having a 'discussion' about this as the item is not fit for us given the number of replacements!

Now I have to live without it again and given how long freight/mail is taking in the world these days I wonder how long.  Fitbit told me 5-7 business days!

my first charge 3 had lines so fitbit replaced it but my replacement unit is even more problematic than the first. this one suddenly had a blank screen. the suggestion to change clock face and reset worked after multiple resets but after a week the screen went blank again. changed the clock face and reset multiple times but it wouldn’t work anymore. the screen is back on but with strip of dots on the side. the screen is also slow to respond when i swipe.

My fit bit Chsrge3 is completely dead.Wont restart.wont recharge.Side button unresponsive.Battery empty.
