Since I "Upgraded"  from a Blaze to charge 3 , I have a number of issues, I don't know if one off or known issues , one repeating issue  is total lock-up with corrupt graphic a reset cures this for a while . but my main niggle is the brightness is appauling I cannot see the time in any form in daylinght/sunlight even on the highest brightness level.  I have seen a number of people saying the same thing , is this to be resoved or should i just give up? . I refuse to wear another watch just to tell me the time when im out and about. Has anyone managed to cure this . I guess its a software issue or a restiction so the battery life can be extended beyoond other watch capability at the sacrifice of poor visual display.which is a good selling point.

Welcome to the Community Forums @york1000I am sorry to hear that you are going through this situation. Rest assured that I will do my best to help you.

Have you checked if your tracker's brightness is the one you selected? If you haven't, I recommend trying the following from your Charge 3:

  1. Swipe to Settings
  2. Go to Brightness
  3. Select the one you prefer "Auto, Dim, Standard"

Let me know the outcome, I'll be around.

Hello there @MLK4647, welcome to the Community Forums.

If your Charge 3's display is getting dimmer, I'd recommend restart it by following the steps below:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

Me too! Useless outside. Let me know if you find a solution. A friend wears a Garmin and her screen is so easy to read outside. I wish I could afford a new tracker

I too have this problem and it's so annoying. I have to get out my phone to see the time when I'm wearing my tracker. I sometimes can't see it in a completely dark room! I tried reset and brightness control to no avail. Please help.
