Hi, my Fitbit shows 2,020 calories burned during 75min of workout. When I looked at my Fitbit about 51 min in my workout it showed 368 calories, which is much more accurate and I believe it was fine at that moment. I have no idea how could this have change within 20 min to 2,020 calories... Any ideas? How can I fix and prevent from happening again?

Welcome to the Community, @Muniekk.
Fitbit devices combine your basal metabolic rate (BMR)—the rate at which you burn calories at rest to maintain vital body functions (including breathing, blood circulation, and heartbeat)—and your activity data to estimate your calories burned. If your device tracks heart rate, your heart-rate data is also included, especially to estimate calories burned during exercise. The number you see on your Fitbit device is your total calories burned for the day.
Your BMR is based on the physical data you entered in to your Fitbit account (height, weight, sex, and age) and accounts for at least half the caloriesyou burn in a day. Because your body burns calories even if you’re asleep or not moving, you see calories burned on your device when you wake up and will notice this number increase throughout the day.
Let me know if you need anything else.

My Fitbit is showing steps but not adding in the calories. Last time I did 15000 steps my daily calories were 2200. Today after 16000 my calories (at 9 pm) are 1480. Could you explain this please Even allowing for the 54 an hour it gives me for breathing, this can’t be right.

Hi Alejandra,
This doesn't answer my query... On that day my Fitbit has calculated a 2,002 calories during a workout. The daily total was 1,750. It doesn't add up.
