I do a walk, for say an hr, and it states 700 calories burnt, I then look a bit later and it's been almost halved! If I then check with my partner who is half my size who has also done the same walk and hers is more. Done this a few times! Can anyone help plz!

Calorie burn is based on two factors: your basal metabolic rate (or BMR) and activity tracked by your device. For more details, I recommend checking the help article: How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?.
