Charge 3 can't setup my cards

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been trying to set up the Fitbit pay on my Charge 3 special edition and it did set up the pin but after adding the card details and address details I get the following message: "There was an error adding this card to Fitbit pay. Please try again once. If the problem persists contact customer support."

I have tried to do it several times and I have checked and the card is in the accepted cards list. Can you please help and let me know what I should do to sort this issue?

Many thanks

Welcome to the Forums, @bionocas.

Thanks for troubleshooting this Fitbit pay issue. Please make sure to be doing the following in order to add your card:

  1. With your device nearby, tap the Today tab

, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap your device image, then tap the Wallet tile.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to add a payment card. In some cases, your bank may require additional verification. If you’re setting up Fitbit Pay for the first time, you may be prompted to set a 4-digit PIN code for your device. Note that you also need passcode protection enabled for your phone.
  4. After you add a card, follow the on-screen instructions to turn on notifications for your phone (if you haven’t already done so) to complete the setup.

You can add up to 6 cards to the Wallet (5 cards for Charge 3), and choose which card to set as the default payment option on your device.

I hope to hear from you soon. 🙂

Dear Alejandra,

Thank you for your message. I did the steps 1 to 3 you mentioned but never managed to reach step 4 because it gave the error message I show on my previous message. Now, I am having issues with the pin number I set up - it is not recognising it and I am running out of attempts. I can't even reach the stage where I add the card details. What can I do sort this problem?

Many thanks for your help.
