My Charge 3 usually tells me I burn about 3500 calories a day with exercise, give or take. Today, it tells me I burned 1,900 calories even though I was on my feet all day (I'm a school teacher) and then went to the gym. When I reboot the device, it tells me I burned about 4,000 calories but then goes back down to 1,900 like it's syncing with something maybe? I have it connected to My Fitness Pal, but I don't think that should affect it. Anybody experience this?

PS: I don't track exercise or anything on My Fitness Pal for it to be messing with my Fitbit that way.

I am having a similar issue. Since the first part of April I've been having issues with the Calorie burn for my Fitbit and My Fitness Pal. The Fitbit doesn't seem to be adding the Calories correctly throughout the day. I walked 17,700 steps and it is only giving me 900 calories for the day and it's 8:30PM. Just seems like there should be more than 900 for the day so far. Though I know it continues to add calories all day and by the end of the day my Fitbit Calories seem OK, but the Calorie burn is not transferring to My Fitness Pal correctly. My Fitness Pal is not giving me the correct Calorie burn from my Fitbit. It's making me crazy to not know what my calories are really for My Fitness Pal. I am not sure if it's a problem with the Fitbit or MFP.

Hi @joanmvhn, it’s great to have you on board! Hi @mmerry5 thanks for stopping by!
@joanmvhn, I apologize for the delayed response and thanks for letting me know about the behavior experienced with your Charge 3, as well for the steps that you've tried. Because the information isn't being syncing correctly throughout the day, I've gone ahead and contacted our support team. The'll be contacting you back via email soon, so keep an eye to your inbox.
@mmerry5, thanks for the details provided. To further investigate, let me know if your device is recording your heart rate accurately, as well to check if the information displayed in the Fitbit app matches the one shown on your Online Dashboard.
In the meantime, I'd suggest to restart your Charge 3 by doing the following:
1. Plug the charging cable into a USB port from a computer or UL-certified outlet into the wall.
2. Clip the other end on the Charge 3 making sure the button is aligned with the opening on the charging cable.
3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. You'll feel a vibration and see a smiley face icon displayed.

I had this happen to me just today so clearly the issue wasn’t resolved. Before I synced my Fitbit I was standing at 15255 steps with over 1700 calories burned. It synced and dropped my calories to Barely over 900. This was going to be a record breaking day to compete with my friends but not anymore. Very very discouraging.
