One of the charging terminals on my Charge 3 is eroding (there are three in a recess in the back of the device to which two are connected to the charging cable). The metal "pad" is getting smaller and smaller over time. The sharp pointed tip on the charging cable may have something to do with it. It's becoming increasingly difficult to get the charging cable to make a good correction. I would definitely recommend changing the charging cable terminals to a more "blunt" design to help avoid this problem. I am definitely interested in how many others have experienced this problem. There is really nothing that can be done at this point except to replace the device.
