Hi,

I tried everything suggested by the fitbit support team, but nothing fixed the problem. I sadly returned the fitbit and got a full refund. It’s a shame as the fitbit charge 3 seems not  yet stable and robust enough against these bluetooth errors. My fitbit seemed to sync with the app but the app was not able to update the fitbit. IMHO, such errors should have been fixed before selling to the public.

I hope you have better luck than me. I otherwise liked the charge 3.

I too have the problem of a clockface not installing and not allowing me to revert to the original.  I have reset, rebooted, reinstalled.  Looks like all that is left is to return.

After trying a lot of different things. I installed and re-installed the app on my android phone. I was then able to change the watch face. I hope this helps with anyone else having this issue.

Hi there I'm having this issue but I stupidly disconnected my fitbit from my app. Now I can't add it back to change the clock face as it asks for 4 numbers to connect it. Which obviously won't display on the screen as it's crashed. I've tried to log onto fitbit through Google but there isn't an option to change the face from there and I've now lost the option to on my fitbit app as I removed my device. I'm confused as to why this isn't resolving when restarting. I've plugged the fitbit in and held for 8 seconds. The load bar comes up and the smiley face. But n

12/11/19 Just got my charge 3 & very disappointed that cannot change clockface.  May exchange this model if that continues cause I really dislike the clockface it came with.  Absolutely can't stand it.  Thank you fitbit for promising your customers something and then taking it away.  For making what was supposed to be a great user experience one that I won't forget.  Who is your competition?

Santi you say Fit is working to resolve this - now 2020 with brand new Charge 3,    Settings did not come up on screen roll out and so reset and checked had latest updates went to clock faces,  Still the same answer.     Srely a choice of clock faces and it is a very limited choice is not too hard.
