I was riding today and I noticed that when I tabbed out of the app, or the phone screen is off - this is how I always ride - I would see the small X symbol on the Charge 3. When I go back to the app, it connects.
On the Charge 3 its says I've only went about 10 Miles in two and a half hours, which I know isn't true. Google Fit shows the correct distance of 19 miles and I didn't even have that app open til the end of my ride.
I've checked my phone settings to make sure the Fitbit app works on data and that any background activity is not blocked. But I still get this issue.
I have the OnePlus 7 Pro

Thanks for troubleshooting this GPS connected issue and for the attachments. If you are having problems with your tracker connecting with your phone, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there.
