Charge 3 developed white lines on screen

My charge 3 has suddenly developed these vertical white lines running down the screen. I can no longer swipe up or to the side either, though tapping the screen still seems to work. I've tried a reboot (hold button for 8 seconds) but no change. I also tried changing the clock face, but that didn't help either.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Did you figure how to fix the problem? I noticed a few white lines across my screen and suddenly there's many more and it's not holding a charge anymore. I've cleaned the sensors and reset it but nothing 😞

Hi @MarreFitbit

My Fitbit, which I just purchased last year just developed the same issue as @P0rtion. Just that the lines is more widespread. The screen basically has a white background now. I've tried restarting it too, without any effect. Could you assist me with this issue too? Thank you!

If it's been even 1 day over 365 days, there's nothing they'll do but offer 25% off of a new one. Upon reading more, it seems a huge problem that'll happen again. I bought a smart watch instead.
Hope yours is still under warranty!!

Mine just started doing this yesterday, have tried restart 8 second and hard restart 15 seconds. No change. Purchased it around a year ago, not exactly sure of exact date. I have been a fitbit user for many years will be really sad if this one only lasts a year

Hi!
It sounds like it's still under warranty. So would I call Fitbit they run you through a few steps to see if they can help you fix it or if not they can replace your Fitbit for free. You can also you chose  to get  half off On an upgrade. I chose to get an upgrade and buy a Fitbit versa 2 for half
off. Good luck

My charge 3 developed the white lines today after charging.  I also tried to troubleshoot it myself.  I haven’t had it that long and it has never gotten wet.  I never had this issue with my versa.  Can this be forwarded to the support team?

even after changing the clock face ..the problem still persists.

regarding the reset...its not working...please upload a demo video on youtube or somewhere...the steps @MarreFitbit and @AlejandraFitbit are suggesting do not go the way they are written...especially the 15 seconds, short vibration, medium vibration, progress bar, etc..

This appears to be a recurring problem which Fitbit never seem to resolve.  I purchased a Charge 3 around Feb 2019 and that was replaced Oct 19, and that was replaced Feb 2020 - both replacements under warranty by the store it was bought from - both due to white lines appearing.

I ended up sending a picture and contacting fitbit support.  My Fitbit was still under warranty- I had to show proof of purchase - and I got a replacement.  Good luck!
