I bought my first charge 3 in 2018 and the screen became blank after a year. I received a replacement and now even that has started showing dead pixels after barely a year again. I have talked to a support staff already and I am getting another replacement. I am glad to get another replacement but it is frustrating that I have to keep replacing it after barely a year despite the cost of the device. I would have expected it to last way longer than that for the investment I paid. The silicone bands also don’t last very long. It breaks after 4-6 months. Can there please be better quality control?

@Stacy2709 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!
Sorry to hear about your Charge 3's not working as it should and thank you for reaching out to our Support team. I appreciate your feedback about the tracker. Fitbit devices are made to last and although I am a moderator here I have to say that this has been my personal experience. Either with the Charge 2, Ionic, Fitbit One (one the best devices IMO), all of them have survived my mistreatment and the battery has lasted for long. The only thing I have had to replaced is the wristbands but that was after at least 18 months of use. If you have any issues you already know that you can reach out to our Support team but hopefully you won't need to do this anytime soon.
I'll be around.

This has happened to me twice with a Charge 3. The first one was just over a year, so I took a total loss on that one since it was just after warranty period ended. I bought another, and now only a few months later, I am having nonstop problems. At least they are offering to replace this one. I feel like they should offer to replace both. The Fitbit I had before purchasing the charge 3 lasted quite a few years with no problems at all. Now I have had problems with two Charge 3 in the space of less than two years. Very frustrating. If I have issues again, I may start looking into other options. It's sad because I have been a Fitbit customer for many years.
