I was wondering is anyone else has experienced this. I have had my fitbit for about 5 months and all of a sudden for the past 3 days it dies after 1 day. Last night I charged it to 99% before bed, and when I woke a few hours later the low battery indicator was flashing. I charged it again before I left for work and turned off the herat rate monitor, notifications, screen wake, and change the light setting to dim and after 6 hours its already at 33%. I've also tried rebooting it several times to see if that would help, but there has been no change. I love my fitbit, but I'd really hate to have to buy a new one already. Any help would be appreciated.

I was having this problem for about a week. This sounds super crazy, but yesterday I manually entered a walk on my Fitbit app and that seems to have solved the power problem. My step count and active minutes jumped up and down on my app and on my device, but then it settled down and the power problem was fixed. The battery is draining at a normal rate now.

I wish I knew what changed, but I'm glad to have things working properly again.

Erica, so glad you were able to fix the battery draining problem for your fitbit. I just bought an apple watch to replace my fitbit since could not get any help from the fitbit people.  I honestly do not understand how they stay in business just ignoring people's problems especially considering the cost of my initial purchase.

Hope all continues to go well for you.

I told them that I was also going to probably go to Apple or something else
because all they wanted to do was give me 15% off another watch and I'm not
willing to do that and another year goes by and it stops working.

Blessings,

All it takes is one voice and one story to make a difference.

I’m having the same problem I charged it to 50% at around 2 and now it’s 5 and it 25%

Same here. Needs to be charged in 48 hours. I can't figure out why.  It has trouble syncing and doesn't respond promptly when I touch the face or the side button. Thinking I need to return it and go with apple.

Ditto! Mine has been vibrating and the screen is going on and off at random times. Now I have a small brick to wear on my wrist. Nothing going on in there. I can get the smiley face to come up if I really try hard but otherwise It. Is. Dead!
