Hi. My display has been dimly lit for some time. I tried to reset the brightness which was set to Automatic but when I tapped on it, the screen went dark and now I can’t see anything. Any help would be really appreciated.

I was just about to post the same issue. I have tried a reset on my wrist, following instructions from Fitbit guidance, and also using the charging cable for a long reset. Am beginning to lose faith completely in Fitbit, as this is my 4th Charge 3 device. So disappointing :-(. It seems it’ll still sync (very slowly) but it’s no good if I can only see the details on the app. What’s the point in having a watch that doesn’t work on your wrist.

I am on my second Charge 3. They both have faded out on the screen after wearing them 11 months. Now the screen is so dim that it is not useful as a watch although I can see data on my phone after it slowly updates. I have tried the restarts to no avail. I truly like the Charge 3 and am not interested in getting a Charge 4 as the reports state that the 4 is not as reliable on the heartbeat monitor. Is there anything else I can try before ordering another 3?

I'm experiencing the same issue. When on a live chat through Support the connection failed.
Nothing I've tried has worked.
This is extremely frustrating.
When I started the live chat I gave all my contact details, would someone please telephone me so we can actually sort this out!

Going through this exact issue. Since my Charge 3 is more than a year old, I'm convinced that this is planned obsolescence. This is my 2nd fitbit device - I'm not going to give them 3 strikes. I looked up customer service online; it gave an email address, then replied to my email that they no longer email. Its Saturday so I'm stuck till Monday but from all of the above comments I doubt I will see any kind of real help or fix for this. Now searching for an alternative to Fitbit....
