So I've had my Fitbit Charge 3 for three weeks or so and find that due to the base of the Fitbit not being flat (There's a groove for the charging slot), that skin gets forced up into it, which after a period of time causes slight pain when poked. (I actually think the people thinking they are having reactions to the LED is actually just this)
This seems like an annoying design flaw. Currently to fix it I 3D printed a matching piece of plastic to fit into it and put a piece of clear tape over it. For those without access to a 3D printer, you can cut the soft non sticky part of a band-aid to size and use some clear tape to hold it in also.
It does make charging annoying, taking off the tape, cleaning and residue left by the tape, and re-taping once charged. Just thought I'd share my findings and solution to anyone having the same issues.
Let me know if you've had the same issue, and if you've found a good way to solve it?
