Charge 3 display corrupted

My Charge 3, which is about 6 weeks old has developed a dead horizontal line about 1/5 of the way down the screen. It's like a dead pixel, but extends right across the screen and always remains black. It's not too much of a problem; info is still easy to read, but it's clearly a fault and may get worse. I intend to return it for an exchange, but am posting to let other users know about this issue.

Good evening. I hate to jump right in, but my Charge 3 (which I have only had for a few weeks) is displaying horizontal dead lines in the top and bottom of my screen. It has also gotten worse since the first time I restarted it just this morning. I don't know what to do, but I am hoping that you could help me.

This is a common problem with FitBit Charge 3. No way to fix it other than asking for a replacement of the device. Obviously a design defect since many users reported the problem recurring after replacement. Good luck.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Hello,

I've also had the same issue with my Fitbit Charge 3, I attempted a restart but the lines of dead pixels remain.

I have the same issue with my charge 3.  I made a topic of my own before I saw this one.  I have restarted it multiple times and am on the latest firmware.

My screen has just experienced an issue which is similar to what others have experienced, but is slightly different.  My screen now appears to be in gray scale and appears to be running vertically.  I also noticed that the swiping on the screen doesn't always work correctly.  I'm going to try a hard restart when I get home from work, but what is the process for returning it?  I received it as a gift at Christmas so I'm unsure of what store it was bought at.

@AlejandraFitbit, thank you for your suggestions.  My Fitbit still isn’t working.  My Charge 3 is about 6 weeks old.  Could you elevate my issue as well?

My Charge 3, purchased June 6 does the same and the reset directions do not seem to help. What is the next step?

Hope that’s not true.  I reset and I was good.  Now two weeks later the lines are showing up again.  Ugh.  Work out 4x-6x week

Changing the clock face did not resolve the corrupted screen issue.  It does seem to have allowed the screen to be more responsive when switching through stats.  What other options are there?
