My Charge 3, which is about 6 weeks old has developed a dead horizontal line about 1/5 of the way down the screen. It's like a dead pixel, but extends right across the screen and always remains black. It's not too much of a problem; info is still easy to read, but it's clearly a fault and may get worse. I intend to return it for an exchange, but am posting to let other users know about this issue.

Hi @SMS7777 and @AnjLee14. Welcome to the Community.
@SMS7777, thanks for sharing that you're having the same situation with your Charge 3, as well for he troubleshooting steps tried prior posting. You did a good job and I've been informed that our Support Team already took your case under their wings. Please keep an eye on your email inbox, you'll get some information about your case.
@AnjLee14, thank you also for joining this thread and let's work on this together. Let me suggest to try restarting it and changing the clock face in the Fitbit app. Also, please perform the long restart and keep me posted about the outcome. About your other question, you can add a picture to your reply by following the instructions described in this post.
I'll be around if you have another question.

Hey @LizzyFitbit
Thanks for the additional advice. I've changed the clock face but this doesn't change anything. Unfortunately I'm unable to preform the long restart. When holding the button down I only get the progress bar 3 out of times, 7 out of 10 times I immediately get a smiley face, when I do get the progress bar it only appears for a second and before it completes I already get a smiley face. This might be because I have also experienced issues with my button, for example I can only use it to put the screen on and not off, but have found that less of an inconvenience than the lines in the screen.
What could I do next to solve this issue?

Hey Lizzy,
Aren't the FitBit Charge 3's supposed to be waterproof up to 30 m? I swim laps with mine, have never gone more than three feet from the surface, and dry it afterwards, but the replacement I was sent already has a corrupted pixel in the top left of the screen. It's not impeding anything really. It's just a little disheartening after having gotten a replacement.

Hi @Hilde_Rey, @Lyssa5 and @SunsetRunner. I'm glad to see you here again.
@Hilde_Rey and @Lyssa5, thanks for taking the time troubleshoot your Charge 3 with the steps posted before. I'm sorry that the screen is still showing the same behavior, and since our troubleshooting was exhausted I've requested a case for you so our Support team can give you a hand. They'll be contacting you via email with more details, keep an eye on your inbox.
@SunsetRunner, thanks for bringing this to my attention. The Charge 3 was designed to be swim-proof up to 50 meters and it shouldn't have this situation. I know how you're feeling and just to confirm, did you thoroughly dry your device after swimming with it? Although you tried it with the previous one, did you attempt the restart and the long restart on your replacement to see if this corrects the display? I'll look forward to your response.
Hope to see you around more often.

It seems as if my screen has been moved tot the left too much. Instead of the time “17.58” it read .7.58”
How can I reset that?

my display has 2 lines going down the middle of it. Tried the reset & that doesn't work. Just 5 months old. Bought at Walmart.
How do I get it fixed?
Thank you.

Return it and exchange it. Resetting it or rebooting it will not fix the problem. I was finally able to exchange mine and got a new one that has not had that issue.

Hello! My Fitbit is having display problem where the bottom part of the screen is blank and there are lines going horizontally on the top part of the display. This problem started few months ago. At the time, I have tried the restarting, and other suggestions in the post but with no luck. I misplaced my charger around the same time I encountered this problem. Went out and bought a replacement one today and plugged it in. Hoped that the issue would have fixed itself but it has not. Your help us appreciated!

Have had the same problem for about 6 weeks, and only on the time face, not on any other screens. A nuisance, but not a big deal for me.

I wear mine in the water all the time. That's why I got this version. I had to have a device I could wear swimming.
