My Charge 3, which is about 6 weeks old has developed a dead horizontal line about 1/5 of the way down the screen. It's like a dead pixel, but extends right across the screen and always remains black. It's not too much of a problem; info is still easy to read, but it's clearly a fault and may get worse. I intend to return it for an exchange, but am posting to let other users know about this issue.

reseting made My charge 3 worse. Less than a year old and has developed 10-12 dead horizontal lines. Never been wet other than drizzle while walking. Resetting added 3-4 extra dead lines and battery went from 50% charged to 18%. Very odd. Puts me off getting a 4 or versa completely

@AlejandraFitbit thanks for your support. I have been using the fitbit charge 3 since 15 months.
The latest firmware update seems to have some bugs.
The battery status has been lost. The charge 3 battery life has been reduced to less than 12 hrs
The display has 2 vertical and 2 horizontal lines.
Pls provide support. Fitbit is integral part of my daily routine.

I have a Charge 3, and this is the second time I've encountered the Dead Pixels problem. I reported it the first time to Fitbit because my tracker was still under waranty and they sent me a replacement - less than a year later, the new one is having the same problems.
I'm not a swimmer, either, BTW.

Since the firmware update I have the same issue with multiple black horizontal lines going thru the display. I did not have this issue prior to the firmware update.

The battery status is still there it is just very very dim and in my case has a horizontal line thru it essentially making it unreadable. I have multiple horizontal lines since firmware update but have not noticed vertical lines. It's baffling they don't do a better job of testing these updates prior to issuing them and disabling what probably is multiple thousands of Charge 3 devices.

Hi @AlejandraFitbit,
My husband has been using my Fitbit charge 3 during the Covid 19 lock down to track his running and work outs and he has really been enjoying it. Unfortunately it recently stopped working and we have tried restarting it several times without success. The screen does not turn on at all and there are no vibrations when we plug it in or try to reset it.
I am not sure if we are still covered under the warranty or not, but I was hoping you might be able to help. He has only been running with it so it can’t be water damage and we find it strange that it one day just stopped working.
Any advice for us or anything you can do to help?
Thank you.

I tried that, but the black lines are still there.

Oh it doesn't help! Latest updates seem to wile out battery and all tracking abilities. Hopefully an updated update will fix these new glitches SOON!!
