Charge 3 display corrupted

My Charge 3, which is about 6 weeks old has developed a dead horizontal line about 1/5 of the way down the screen. It's like a dead pixel, but extends right across the screen and always remains black. It's not too much of a problem; info is still easy to read, but it's clearly a fault and may get worse. I intend to return it for an exchange, but am posting to let other users know about this issue.

Thanks for the advice but I've had it replaced twice already. Seems pointless as it keeps happening.

Your unit is done. You will have to contact customer service who will ask
you to try an extended restart. When that doesn't work they will give you
options for replacement. Good luck.

If your FB is under a year old, contact Customer Service for a free replacement or help getting it to work properly

Is there an email address to contact Fitbit customer service direct on as going through the live chat option in the support doesn't work?

Same here...and less than 1 month past the 1 year warranty of the original
purchase date, FitBit is telling me they can do nothing to fix my problem
in spite of the fact that they replaced my device once for this same reason
months after the original purchase date! Only offering a small discount on
buying a new device!!! I told them they should restart the warranty date to
the date they replaced the last one, but she said that was against their
policy! I told her I'll never spend another dime on a FitBit product and
that I would do everything in my social media power to give their product,
customer service and company BAD PUBLICITY! She still didn't escalate my
call to her supervisor! This company will be OUT OF BUSINESS in NO TIME!
Good Luck & Good Bye!

Exactly the situation I'm in. I'm worried too that the Charge 4 will be the same.

Looking at other brands now.

It won’t be any better. After being treated this way, they will not get anymore money out of me.  I gave been a very devoted Fitbit owner for years but I guess that doesn’t matter.  Good luck...

Do you find that it seems to be harder to deal with them since they were taken over by Google?  I have had only good experiences with them in the past until now.

Now that you mention it, the Customer service rep was a bit more abrupt & not very friendly, but maybe this Pandemic stuff has everyone on edge ??!!
I was disappointed on them not offering a replacement on the replacement unit, just a 25% discount

I feel the same, luv my FB, but can't justify putting more $$ to something that's failed 3 times in 17 months
