I have a fitbit charge 3 and i got it friend a friend who doesnt use it anymore and lost access to the account they have with fitbit. The fitbit has a black screen but still vibrates on the charger meaning it charged but nothing will display and i have no way of connecting it to my phone to do something like changing the clock face. What do I do?

Hi there @Icyivy! A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Thank you so much for reporting this situation and for all the efforts you've already tried.

You can try to restart the Charge 3 this way:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you notice a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When the tracker vibrates and shows a smile icon, the tracker has restarted.
  5. If the display still doesn't show anything I'd suggest you contact the customer support
